Movie 1: Air
This is a very entertaining Ben Affleck directed sports drama about real events. Nike shoes signing Michael Jordan to their first blockbuster contract in 1984. The all-star cast is terrific. Viola Davis, as Jordan’s mother, is marvelous.

Movie 2: The Covenant
This may be Guy Ritchie’s best movie to date. It is a very well done and explosive movie about an Afghan interpreter left behind when the US pulls out of Afghanistan. The tension is palpable. We found ourselves thinking about this film long after it was over.

Movie 3: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3
If you’ve seen the other Guardian of the Galaxy movies, you will very much appreciate this (supposedly) final installment in the franchise. The Guardians are on a mission to save Rockets (voiced by Bradley Cooper) life. The special effects are fantastic. The friendship and camaraderie between the main characters is fun to watch.
